		<description>It would be more easy to just copy everything from the Profiles directory to your .mozilla-thunderbird directory (including the profiles.ini)

and i wold suggsest to uninstall all the plugins before doing this (or as the first thing when you run thunderbird in linux) as only the plugins are not compatible between win and linux

this works on all linux distros... the only diffrence might be the local storage for thunderbird conf (some distros use .thunderbird directory under your home directory)</description>
